Montana Must-Sees

August 17th, 2011

So you-re halfway there ” you-ve been using your satellite star internet to finalize your Montana travel plans but your itinerary is a bit light. Here are a few of our Must-See-s for your trip to Big Sky
A Buffalo Jump ” There are several great ones throughout the state and boy are they a site to behold. Ancient Indians used to drive buffaloes off these cliffs in order to skin and eat them and the solitude and magnitude you-ll experience at these sites will leave you breathless.
The Mint ” Just outside of Bozeman is The Mint, the most authentic (and best tasting) steakhouse around. The cattle is raised out back and you-re likely to see an honest to goodness cowboy sipping a martini at the wooden bar ” just don-t ask for your steak well done.
Glacier ” Glacier National Park sometimes plays second fiddle to more-famous sibling Yellowstone but don-t miss this park if you happen to visit at a time when the roads aren-t closed. From hidden waterfalls to glass-clear lakes there are few places in the US that offer such natural beauty.
