May 23rd, 2011

It’s the 44th most populated states in the United States with a mere 989,415 residents. There are rolling plains, stretches of road that are deserted for hundreds of miles, and no shopping malls. So why would you ever want to live in a place like this? While the state of Montana may not appeal to the individuals who are used to the big city life, it is certainly in a world of its own. There’s cascading snow capped mountains and rolling plains, there is no question as to why Montana is known as “Big Sky Country.”

Residents of Montana may not get all the advantages of living in a big city such as shopping malls, 5 star restaurants, or the ability to go see a movie at any given time, they are given something much better. Something that has been long lost and forgotten in most parts of the world. A land where you are truly free. In Montana, you can roam for miles without ever seeing your neighbor. You can go visit the beautiful and world renowned Yellow Stone National Park or experience the majesty of a time lost at Glacier National Park. The possibilities are endless, and while Montana may not have all the hustle and bustle of the big city, here you get to take a step back in time and understand why the old west was so positively thought of.
